File skipped.... strange

File skipped.... strange

Postby Simon on Tue Jun 10, 2003 1:08 pm

Hi

I"m currently testing the freeware version of aspEasyZip, to see if it meets our requrements before purchasing the full version.

I"ve encountered an error when zipping a file bigger than 2 mb. The asp-page i"ve written first zip"s the file that the user requested, and then sends the zipfile for download. It works like a charm, but when the filesize exceeds 1,5 - 2 mb i get the following error.

<b>
aspEasyZIP 3.0 (17/02/03) DLL DEBUG: File specification "C:DATAwwwrootpath1.jpg" skipped (767)
Error: File specification "C:DATAwwwrootpath1.jpg" skipped
</b>

Is this something that would work when we purchase the registered version, or is it something i have done wrong? I can"t finde anything in the documentation...

Thanx!
Simon

No, normally it skips the file when it finds the same file inside but no if the size is bigger that expected.
Can you send me by email the file to check it on my development server?

Hi,

I had experience similar file skpped problem,
with file on network drive will skipped,
but the same fileon on local drive can work properly
aspEasyZIP 3.30 (12/11/04) DLL DEBUG: File specification "W:\DRM_Packaged\2\2\1.wma" skipped (767)
aspEasyZIP 3.30 (12/11/04) DLL DEBUG: adding: 1.wma (0)

does there any solution for this?

aspEasyZIP can not load the file, please verify the security settings because seems to be a problem with the user for reading the file.

If you are using IIS please check the anonymous rights, if you are using a script then check the user which is accessing the script.
